At this time I am only able to accept self pay. I am not currently in network with insurance providers. If requested, I can provide a super bill for your submittal to insurance. Please check with your insurance company about reimbursements.

Our visit can take place in any room of your house that is comfortable for you. It is helpful to have a chair available for me to sit on, as well as a small, stable area (floor or table) with a firm surface for my scale. I will also need access to a sink to wash my hands. It is helpful if your baby is ready to eat about 30 minutes after I arrive, so we have time to talk. If your baby does get hungry before our appointment, feel free to give a small feeding. And don’t stress if the timing doesn’t work out, we will make the visit work no matter when your baby fed last. Although I love animals, pets can be unpredictable after a new baby arrives, especially towards strangers, so please have your pets in another room when I arrive.

You should see a Lactation consultant if you are having trouble latching, experiencing pain or damage to breasts or nipples, concerns for low milk supply, baby is not gaining weight, baby is not having enough wet or dirty (stool) diapers, any other feeding challenges, or simply because you feel like you need the support. Other times to see a Lactation consultant may be prenatally for education, before returning work, or for pumping issues.
